This month the Colorado River Indian Tribes Library & Archives is hosting four competitions:
Baking Contest
Candy Guessing Contest
Coloring Contest
Pumpkin Gourd Decorating Contest
Please have an up-to-date C.R.I.T library card, update your information over the phone or come in and sign up for a library card. It's quick, easy, and free for everyone!
Baking Contest 13+ Only
Ready to show off your kitchen skills? Bake a treat and decorate it in a spooky Halloween style! Take a photo with your delicious creation and send it over to us for a chance to win!
Candy Guessing Contest All Ages
Can you guess how many pieces of candy are in our lantern? Try your best and submit a guess! Only one guess per person per day, closest entry gets the lantern.
Coloring Contest All Ages
Coloring pages and their categories can be found on the coloring contest page and printed at home, or patrons can come into the library and pick up their pages. The best colored picture in each category wins!
Pumpkin Gourd Decorating Contest All Ages
Pumpkin Gourds can be picked up at the library during open hours, first come first serve. Take your gourd home and decorate it in a sensory fashion, with lots of textures and colors. Examples of decorated gourds can be found on the contest page. Remember to take a picture of your final product and enter yourself into the contest! Decorating materials are not provided for take home.
